Dr. N.K. Sajiv Menon, our founder, is an outstanding educationist whose achievements are an eloquent testimony to his unwavering devotion to the highest principles of educational philosophy and human values. Mr. Menon has been hailed as an ideal teacher, powerful motivator and an excellent speaker. His career in education spans over 20 years. He is successfully running many educational institutions, providing training, educational courses and online programs.

Dr. N.K Sajiv Menon, popularly known as Uncle SAM, is a philanthropist at heart, too fond of children, a visionary on a mission to provide nothing but the best for children across cast, color, creed, or nation. Mr. Menon, lovingly called by kids as Uncle SAM, believes that the best way to build a mighty nation is by providing the right education and right guidance at the right time. As a tribute to the nation, Mr. Sajiv Menon, has been striving hard to design a curriculum relevant for all, that is inspiring children to value themselves, foster a sense of belonging to the community, at the same time empowering children to operate as independent learners and thinkers.

Himself a triple Post graduate (MBA, MCA, and MS(C&P) with Phd & DLit, and with his long term experience in the education sector, aims to provide quality education, to one and all. After several years of persistent explorations pertaining to the education system and collecting insights from the visionaries and experts in the sector, Mr. N.K Sajiv Menon set out to establish a new curriculum that colligates the best of the old school with the most innovative of the new streams and concepts in education.

Ms. Munira Akhtar

DPME, DSE

Ms. Munira is responsible for continuous up-gradation of the training and the course content. The quality of the Montessori course materials is maintained under her guidance. She has great love for children and is an active supporter of Montessori Method. She works with a keen aim to see all Children benefiting from the Montessori Method. Ms. Munira is the Course Director for International Montessori Teacher Training Centre - Kochi & Kannur Chapter.

Ms. Munira Akhtar

Ms. Munira Akhtar is a leading figure in early childhood education with over three decades of experience in the Montessori philosophy. Her dedication to creating nurturing and inclusive learning environments has made her a significant influence in the field.
Munira Akhtar’s career began with a strong belief in the Montessori philosophy. She obtained her Primary Montessori Diploma from the Association Montessori Internationale in Holland and further specialized in inclusive education with a diploma from KPAMRC.
She started her professional journey working alongside Ms. Meenakshi Sivaramakrishnan, Head of IMTC, Bangalore, from 1992 to 1998, shaping future Montessori educators. Munira also contributed to the advisory board and worked at HeadStart Montessori, gaining valuable experience.
As Principal at Little Feat Montessori House of Children (2000-2014), Munira created an environment where children excelled both academically and emotionally. Her leadership was instrumental in laying a solid foundation for her students, many of whom have gone on to higher education and successful careers.

In 2014, Munira founded Montessorians United to make quality Montessori education accessible, particularly in tier 2 and 3 cities across India. This initiative aimed to spread awareness and provide training to educators, benefiting countless children. Under her guidance, Montessorians United has become synonymous with excellence in early childhood education, impacting over 2000 young girls by empowering them to achieve financial independence and secure employment.
Her work with special needs children (2000-2003) and her role on the advisory panel of ILM Montessori House of Children (2016-present) highlight her commitment to inclusive education.
Munira encapsulates her mission with the words: “My strength lies in my passion for early childhood education and in creating nurturing environments for children to thrive in.” Her legacy is reflected in the schools and teachers she has mentored and the countless lives she has positively impacted through her dedication to Montessori principles.
